Please consider the following when choosing your child's class schedule :
Hours of Operation : Weekdays 7:00am - 5:30pm
Minimum attendance requirement is two half days each week - Monday & Friday mornings.
Nine Month School Year Schedules and Tuitions 3 September, 2019 – May 23, 2020
Full-day children will potentially have two class sessions per day, Monday through Friday. Nap excluded, as appropriate.
To be eligible for our Kindergarten program, children should be 4.6 years old by September 2.
Kindergarten age children attend class on one of the following schedules :
Full day Monday - Friday (10 class sessions/week) Full day Tuesday - Thursday ( 6 class sessions/week) Half Day Monday - Friday 1:30pm-4:30pm ( 5 class sessions/week) Half Day Tuesday - Thursday 1:30pm-4:30pm ( 3 class sessions/week)
( For children attending public Kindergarten in the mornings. Children bring a packed lunch.)
Half Day Tuesday-Thursday 1:30pm-4:30pm
Kindergarteners attending a morning program elsewhere, may, of necessity, arrive between 11:30 and noon, with parental escort to the Garden Room door.

Morning half-day classes are available to children 2-5 years of age, as space is available.

Afternoon Class Options
Afternoon classes are available to children 2.5-6 years, as space is available. These classes focus on Transitional and Montessori Kindergarten level work. Montessori Kindergarten is often similar to first/second grade work in the general sector.

Late Afternoon Childcare Options
Childcare for non -Full Day children

Occasional childcare for non-Montessori classroom time is billed at the rate of $3.00/ half hour or fraction thereof for before/after class childcare.
Tuition for Elementary age children attending Nautilus Motessori on a drop-in basis :
$49.00/full day or $28.00/half day including lunch hour and a half.
Additional Financial Details
Tuition Rates Change May 1st of each year.
Registration Fee: $150.00 (new students) $125.00 (returning students) The registration fee is non-refundable/non-transferable for monthly tuition, late fees, additional class time etc. Supply Fee: $100.00 This is due August 1st of each year. It is non-refundable and pro-rated upon entry into class.
Deposit A deposit of the total of two weeks of the child's enrolled schedule is due on the child's first day of attendance. This deposit will be applied to the child's last two weeks attendance at school when written notice of withdrawal is provided thirty days prior to the child's last attendance day.
Other Fees Additional fees that are optional include fees for Fall school photographs, Scholastic book orders, outing fees, etc.
Other Details :
Nautilus Montesori School has a LATE FEE police regarding pick-up times. Fees are assessed ar $5.00 every five minutes after closing time, payable to the staff member on duty, when the child is picked-up.
Breakfast is served at 7.45am. Children arriving after 7.45am are to arrive fed and ready for the school day. Children having breakfast at school will contribute to the school's larder.
Lunchtime at school is by "pre-arrangement" and not a drop-in option. This is to comply with California State required adult to children ratio's.
Children eating lunch at school are to bring their own packed lunch with beverage included. Lunches will be warmed in the microwave for the children, provided food arrives in a microwavable container, ready to be warmed. Water for drinking is always avilable.
